Use Rstructure fairly, don't abuse the platform, pay for what you use, and you own what you create. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using rstructure.app and its associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time in accordance with Section 14.
Description of Service
Rstructure is a text transformation platform that allows users to create, manage, and run custom rules to restructure, reformat, and process text content. The Service includes:
- A web application for creating and managing transformation rules.
- A bulk processing interface for applying rules to multiple inputs.
- A marketplace for discovering and sharing community-created rules.
- A browser extension for running rules directly in your browser.
- An API for programmatic access (where available).
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service with reasonable notice.
Accounts & Registration
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Promptly notify us at legal@rstructure.app of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
- Not create more than one account per person without our express written consent.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to create an account. We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.

Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Paddle.
- All prices are in USD. Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes on our behalf as Merchant of Record.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described below.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Plan → Manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscribers. To request a refund, contact us at legal@rstructure.app within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days. After the 14-day window, refunds are not available except as required by law.
Downgrade & Free tier limits
If your subscription lapses, your account reverts to the Free plan.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Generate, distribute, or store content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, bypass authentication, or exploit platform vulnerabilities.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use automated tools to abuse the platform at a volume materially exceeding normal usage.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Transmit malware, spyware, or any code designed to damage or interfere with the Service.
- Resell or white-label the Service without a separate written agreement.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination, at our sole discretion, without refund.
Intellectual Property
The Rstructure name, logo, interface design, underlying software, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Rstructure and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service solely for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The built-in rule templates provided by Rstructure are © Rstructure. You may use them as a starting point for your own rules, but may not redistribute them as standalone products.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all rules and content you create using the Service ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant Rstructure a limited licence to process and store Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. This licence does not extend to:
- Training machine learning or AI models on Your Content.
- Sharing Your Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Using Your Content for any purpose other than operating the Service.
When you publish a rule to the Marketplace, you grant other users a non-exclusive licence to use and clone that rule within the Service. You may unpublish a rule at any time; existing clones will remain functional for users who have already cloned it.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Paddle, Vercel, Resend, and the Anthropic API. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third parties' terms of service and privacy policies.
Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for all transactions, meaning Paddle is responsible for billing, tax collection, and payment processing. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Any reliance on third-party services is at your own risk.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Always review outputs before relying on them.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RSTRUCTURE BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Rstructure in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rstructure and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
- Your Content, including any claim that Your Content infringes third-party rights.
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms.
- Your conduct may harm Rstructure, other users, or third parties.
- Required by law or court order.
- We decide to discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Service immediately ends. Sections 06, 09, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rstructure is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
